Online Dating

The places to meet new people are limitless-- coffee shops, work, school, clubs, church, shopping malls, grocery stores, etc. However, if you just want to quickly view large amounts of singles in your area, then online dating may be right for you. I am single and 30, and while I am not desperately seeking a mate right now, I wouldn't mind if a great guy came along ^^. I love using dating sites, because I think it is fun to see who is in my area,.........and looking at attractive guys never hurt any girl...lol. I don't always have time to go out and be seen in hopes of randomly bumping into "Mr. Right", so I can at least show myself available online in hopes that me and "Mr. Right" may come across each other's profiles.I know that for some individuals, online dating may seem creepy and dangerous, but there are many online safety practices a person can use to be sure online dating does not become a nightmare. Some online dating sites are free while others have a fee to use. I personally do not want to pay any money to use any dating site, so I only use the ones that let you create profiles for free. Some of the free sites may charge for specific features and upgrades, but it is up to you if you choose to pay for those features. My favorite dating websites that I have used, met individuals from, and currently use are Plenty of Fish, OkCupid, and Skout (Skout is an app). I love these dating sites because they are free to use, have many users to search through, and have apps for Apple and Android.

Studying For The TOPIK Exam

You may be thinking….” Blesbey, why are you studying the Korean Language?” I have said before that I study Korean because i think it is an interesting language. My ultimate goal that i want to reach is to be able to reach a high level of proficiency on the TOPIK (Test Of Proficiency IN Korean). As of today, i have self studied, had one semester of community college Introductory Korean here in the United States, and had 9 months intensive language course Korean at Sogang University in Korea. I started learning Korean in 2011. Although several years have past, my Korean language skills are at a basic level.Korean can be difficut to study sometimes, but i am determined to continue because it is fun, and i want to achieve my TOPIK exam goal. So, I try to study weekly as much as i can. I use free language learning sites online, library books, and my own purchased collection of books. Below are the Korean language learning books I have purchased and study from:

Back In The United States

I am back in America now. I apologize about not documenting my life in Korea. In Korea i became extremely busy with hanging out with new friends, and studying hard. Although this blog is titled “ Blesbey in Korea”, and I am no longer in Korea, I am going to continue to posts blogs here. What will I be blogging about? Anything related to Korea. I have traveled to Korea twice, studied the Korean language in Korea for nine months, and have experience with the Korean lifestyle as a foreigner. I also still plan to visit Korea again in the near future….I just cant stay away...lol!
